UAEHQ is built on a simple discipline: a figure without attribution does not exist on this platform. Every statistic carries one of five evidence classifications and opens its full provenance — and where the evidence is insufficient, UAEHQ says so instead of answering.
Every figure declares itself.
- REPORTED
- Published by the source, stored exactly as stated — no adjustment, no interpolation.
- CALCULATED
- Derived by UAEHQ from reported figures. The formula and its inputs are disclosed in the provenance drawer.
- MODELLED
- A forecast or estimate, labelled as one, with its origin named. Never mixed silently with reported data.
- PROXY
- A stand-in for something not directly measured — declared as a proxy, never disguised as the measure itself.
- INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE
- The honest answer when data cannot support a claim. UAEHQ renders this state rather than estimating.

Data reaches the platform two ways, and both keep provenance intact.
Live connectors
Open official sources — statistics offices, central banks, aviation authorities, official newsrooms — read directly, on their own cadence, with the source and retrieval time attached to every value.
Verified-source ingest
Published reports and datasets are parsed, classified against a dataset registry, and normalised into provenance-carrying facts. Low-confidence readings stop for human review before anything enters the platform — and customer uploads are never platform-verified: they stay private and are labelled as the customer's own.
